CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
We are currently seeking a licensed assessment psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) who is interested in a great opportunity to start or expand their career in private practice. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to take on anywhere between 2-6 assessment cases per month.

Common assessment referrals at our practice consist of children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking an evaluation to assess for AD/HD; specific learning disability, giftedness and “twice exceptional” (2e) abilities; autism spectrum disorder (ASD); other neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive conditions. Many clients may also present with co-existing psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety spectrum disorders, mood disorder, PTSD etc. We also offer evaluations for students and professions seeking special accommodations at school, work, or standardized testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited doctorate program in clinical psychology or other related behavioral science

Minimum 2 years of postgraduate experience in psychological/neuropsychological evaluations with children and/or adults

Must be available to come for in-person testing appointments at the Oakland or Oceanside locations

Licensed in California by the Board of Psychology

License in good standing

Must have a National Provider Identification (NPI)

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE

Comprehensive knowledge and practice in assessing for AD/HD, specific learning disability, ASD, intellectual functioning/giftedness, differential diagnoses (mood/trauma/cognition/personality)

Experience and interest in evaluating a wide developmental age range (children and adults)

Strong report-writing skills; ability to modify to targeted audience

Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple competing deadlines/tasks

Excellent communication skills (e.g., ability to effectively conduct feedback sessions, delivering sensitive information to clients)

Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other clinicians, referring providers, collateral sources etc.
